OUR GOAL

GEA’s aims

GEA’s philosophy is that of developing research and intervention projects in the field of environmental protection and cooperation for development. As explained in more depth in the section “The Association” GEA’s progress in the area of field research has brought, in time, to the development of intervention projects in favour of emarginated and discriminated communities in the world.

In the Research sector, GEA develops projects which monitor and evaluate the human impact on the environment (view) whose aim is to conserve and protect the environment. Moreover, through research and experimentation on the field, GEA defines model of cooperation for a sustainable and shared development, based on low-cost formation (view).

Inside the research sector it is also important to underline the goal of scientific divulgation which GEA sets itself. Through articles and publications, GEA spreads in the scientific world its own data and results in the long-term perspective of contributing to the world of international cooperation. In the area of Cooperation for development, GEA develops projects of cooperation and of sustainable development in favour of emarginated and discriminated communities and minorities (view).

In the area of education, finally, GEA is concerned with spreading the culture of cooperation and research also in the younger age groups coming from the universities, through intensive experiences on the field, and to train to the protection and conservation of the environment through the school of applied eco-ethology and field research, organized by GEA every year (view).
